This handbook will contribute to a better understanding of national, regional and international good practice on the development of an NQF and NVQF. The experience of many other countries must be drawn from, so that the NQF becomes a robust and practical tool, fully embedded in the Nepalese skills development eco-system.

This document complements other NQF/NVQF reports published by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the Nepal Vocational Qualifications System (NVQS) Project executed by and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the Nepal Vocational Qualifications System (NVQS) Project executed by and Vocational Training (CTEVT), the Nepal Vocational Qualifications System (NVQS) Project executed by CTEVT/NSTB and Swisscontact, and other related agencies.
