During the 7th International Women’s Trade Expo 2024, held from March 29th to April 2nd, 2024, at Heritage Garden in Sanepa, Lalitpur, the National Vocational Qualification System (NVQS) stall, facilitated by the Nepal Vocational Qualification System Project-Phase II (NVQS P-II) and led by the National Skill Testing Board (NSTB), engaged with participants and patrons. The stall attracted attention with its informative displays and interactive activities, featuring colorful banners and brochures providing insights into NVQS procedures and the importance of skill testing.
Attendees, including entrepreneurs, professionals, and youth, expressed interest in opportunities for skill development and employment. Discussions centered around the significance of skill certification and strategies for improving employability locally and globally.
The event facilitated connections with private sector entities, as NVQS representatives interacted with employers to promote the benefits of skill testing and encourage participation in the employer's database.
With over 500 attendees benefiting from the stall’s resources, the NVQS presence highlighted its commitment to empowering individuals through vocational qualifications.
