A 2-day workshop on Quality Assurance Process Guidelines, held on February 15-16, 2024, in Kathmandu saw the active participation of 10 Accredited Skills Assessment Centers (ASACs) from the Bagmati province. Nine other technical institutes and training centers also participated in the event.
Led by the international TVET expert, Mr. Jayandra Seneviratne, the workshop was pivotal in advancing the quality assurance processes within our ASACs. The workshop was organized as an ongoing initiative by National Vocational Qualifications System Project-Phase II (NVQS P-II), designed to strengthen ASACs that play crucial role in implementing skills assessment through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
By elevating the standards of these ASACs through rigorous self-assessment mechanisms, we not only help them flourish as institutions and thrive as businesses, but we also aim to enhance the credibility and recognition of RPL certificates.
The dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by the participating ASACs underscore their commitment to continuous improvement.
NVQS P-II is a bi-lateral initiative of Government of Nepal and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC. Swisscontact provides technical assistance to the project on behalf of the SDC.
